VIETNAM EXPLORER TOUR
The Vietnam Explorer Tour is a comprehensive journey that takes travelers on an immersive exploration of Vietnam’s diverse landscapes, rich history, and vibrant culture. Starting in Hanoi, the tour ventures through the countryside, visiting iconic landmarks in the tranquil Hoan Kiem Lake, historic Old Quarter, and stunning Halong Bay.
The journey continues to the charming town of Hoi An, known for its ancient architecture and vibrant lantern-lit streets. Travelers then proceed to Ho Chi Minh City, exploring landmarks like Notre-Dame Cathedral and Cu Chi Tunnels.
The tour also includes a visit to the Mekong Delta, experiencing floating markets and rural life. Interacting with locals, savoring Vietnamese cuisine, and gaining insight into the country’s history make this tour an unforgettable exploration of Vietnam’s beauty and culture.
Destination’s Activities
Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi
Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, our driver (no guide) will transfer you to the city center (approximately 1-hour drive). Check-in at the hotel in Hanoi. Free leisure time at the hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi - Full Day City Tour (B/L)
After breakfast, embark on a full day city tour, visiting the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Old Quarters, One Pillar Pagoda, West Lake, Tran Quoc Pagoda, and the Temple of Literature. Lunch at a local restaurant. Explore Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, and take a 1-hour cyclo tour in the Old Quarter. Optional: Traditional Water Puppet Show. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi – Halong (B/L/D)
Depart from Hanoi for Halong Bay via shuttle bus transfer. Cruise through the scenic countryside to Halong Bay. Embark on a wooden junk for exploration, including a swim in a secluded cove and visits to hidden grottoes. Seafood lunches and dinner on board. Overnight on the junk.
Day 4: Halong - Hanoi – Danang – Hoi An (B/Br)
Continue the cruise in Halong Bay, having brunch on board before disembarking. Arrival at the pier, transfer back to Hanoi by shuttle bus. Transfer to the airport for a flight to Danang. Upon arrival, meet our guide and transfer to the hotel in Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 5: Hoi An (B/L)
Explore the Ancient Town of Hoi An in the morning, visiting Japanese Covered Bridges, the Pottery Museum, Tamky House, Chua Ong Pagoda, and the vibrant market. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon at leisure for shopping, walking, or beach relaxation. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 6: Hoi An (B)
Full day at leisure for personal activities. Optional half-day tour to My Son – Holly land in the morning, exploring the former Cham capital and its beautifully carved stone sculptures. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 7: Hoi An - Danang - Ho Chi Minh (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Leisure time until check-out, then transfer (private transfer without guide) to the airport for a flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, the rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 8: Ho Chi Minh - Cu Chi Tunnels & City (B/L)
Morning departure for Cu Chi Tunnels, a strategic base during the American War. Explore the tunnel network and return to the city for lunch. Afternoon city tour includes Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Sai Gon Post Office, and Ben Thanh Market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 9: Ho Chi Minh – My Tho (B/L)
Early morning departure for My Tho in the Mekong Delta. Boat trip in the delta region to observe local lifestyle, visit Unicorn Island, stroll in an orchard, taste seasonal fruits, and enjoy traditional music. Visit Ben Tre Province for local industries and have lunch. Return to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 10: Ho Chi Minh – Departure (B)
After breakfast, free leisure time until transfer (private transfer without guide) to the airport for departure flight.
