At 02:30 p.m. continue to visit the most famous of all Angkor Wat temples – established as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The complex of this temple covers 81 hectares, comparable in extent to the Imperial Palace of Peking. The well-known five towers are part of the Cambodian flag. They represent the 5 peaks of Meru, the walls encircling them are the mountains and the valley surrounding them the ocean. This work of art of the twelfth century is considered among art historians, as the first example of classical architecture and Khmer art.

At 04:30 p.m. to relax for the watching Sunset View with light snack at Phnom Krom Area. Return to the hotel and accommodation in Siem Reap.

Breakfast at hotel. Morning transfer from Siem Reap to Battambang will be by road (180 Km/2h20 min) with tour guide. The road is in a very good condition and completely refurbished. Stop for the visit of Silk Farm in Pouk and witness the process of how to make one of the finest silk worldwide.

In the afternoon, Transfer to the Bamboo Train station. The Bamboo train has been set up by the villagers to facilitate the transportation of goods. The train is very basic, one bamboo platform on 4 wheels activated by a small motor. Sitting on the platform and you will travel the 8 km to the next station through beautiful landscape and rice paddies. On arrival, visit the village and discover the daily life of the Cambodian countryside.

Note: The Cambodian Government is planning to renovate the railway in 2013 but for the moment, nothing has been confirmed yet. Therefore, bamboo train is subject to the availability of this service in 2013.

Continues to visit the Bat Cave at Phnom Sampov mountain.
